Your profile / requirements

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or related field. Master`s  Degree is or equivalent is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Accounting/Controlling, preferred in international environment. First leadership experience & project lead experience is a plus 
  • Strong  knowhow in accounting practices, monthly closing procedures and analysis of financial statements and reports.  is a must. Experience with internal auditing is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in financial systems, e.g. ERP, FP&A Tools, preferably Abacus ERP, Quickbooks 
  • Solid Expertise in budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc financial analysis 
  • Fluent written and spoken level in English. Any other additional language is a plus. 
  • MS-Office Professional User (Excel) is a must. 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely Financial Accounting per local GAAP and global GAAP, inclusive of:  Managing Accounts Payable   Managing Accounts Receivable, incl. Dunning  Managing General Ledger  Supervision of local Travel Expenses  Credit Management for local customers  Handling VAT, Income Tax, Equity, and Long-Term Debt  Provide accurate and timely Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Financial Reportings   to Group Finance. (i.e. Preparation of B/S, P/L, CF-Statements per local entity)  Managing Intercompany transactions  Participate/Ensure on IC-Reconciliations 
  • Act as a maker for financial transactions. 
  • Manage proper Reporting in line with local and global GAAP and policies, while meeting designated deadlines. 
  • Maintain and update master data for cost centers and projects, including standard cost calculations in various currencies. 
  • Provide the Managing Director with the required financial reports and advice. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax statements to local authorities. 
  • Implement Global Function's Accounting guidelines (e.g., common chart of accounts, global booking instructions, naming conventions). 
  • Contribute to projects directed by the Global Organization (e.g., SSC projects). 
  • Represent the Local Entity within the Finance Leadership Team. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for External Auditors, Tax Auditors, local banks, and other financial institutions. 
  • Spearhead initiatives to enhance efficiency within the local Finance Department.
