The Arcondis Foundation
The Arcondis Foundation was established in 2017. It owns the Arcondis Group and its main purpose is to ensure the sustainable development of the Arcondis Group.
It actively engages all stakeholders in the value generated by the company and allocates portions of its income for socially impactful initiatives.
Christian Baumgartner, the founder remains operationally active, and all stakeholder groups (Board of Directors, senior leadership, and elected employees) are involved in decision-making at ownership level as members of the foundation board.
The Foundation is responsible for the following purposes as defined by the owner:
- sustainable development of the company
- safeguarding of employment within the Arcondis Group
- funding and realising social responsibility projects
Therefore, unlike charitable foundations, the Arcondis Foundation has besides its social responsibility, also an entrepreneurial mission.
