Your profile / requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 
• Proven experience (3+ years) in .NET development, ideally within manufacturing or MES contexts 
• Hands-on experience with Critical Manufacturing or similar MES platforms is a strong plus 
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio and the Microsoft development stack 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture and design patterns 
• Familiarity with integration of MES systems into broader IT landscapes (e.g. ERP, SCADA) 
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and version control systems (e.g. Git) 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently 
• Effective communicator, able to translate business needs into technical solutions 

Tasks and responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and project stakeholders to gather, analyse and document functional requirements and customisation needs 
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software components and extensions using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET) 
• Implement new functionalities and enhance existing code modules to ensure seamless integration with the MES application 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to maintain application stability and performance 
• Work with the QA team to define and execute test plans, ensuring thorough validation of customised modules 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, DBAs and project managers, to ensure successful delivery 
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices 
• Contribute to technical documentation, including specifications, user guides and change logs 
• Stay current with emerging .NET and MES technologies and apply them where appropriate
