Your profile / requirements

•  - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field  - 3+ years of experience in software package engineering, with experience in package management systems such as SCCM, WSUS, or Chocolatey   -Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash  - Knowledge of software development lifecycles, software testing methodologies, and software deployment best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and to communicate effectively with  technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment platforms such as AWS    or Azure
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V

Tasks and responsibilities

•  - Design, build, and test software packages for enterprise-wide deployment  - Analyze software requirements and architect the most efficient packaging solution  - Develop and maintain package distribution mechanisms and scripts  - Work with software developers and system administrators to ensure that software  packages are compatible with various operating systems and hardware platforms
• Maintain software package documentation and support guides
• Troubleshoot and resolve software package distribution issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to software packaging and deployment
