Mission

Tasks and responsibilities

Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other cross-functional teams to optimize and streamline the software development lifecycle
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the health of our infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability
Implement and maintain cloud-based
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)
Manage and optimize containerized applications using e.g. Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Conduct regular system backups, data replication, and disaster recovery planning
Collaborate with development teams to address scalability and performance requirements
Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve overall operational efficiency
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing

Studies

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles (5+ years of experience preferred).
Strong proficiency in scripting and coding (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
In-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus.
Proficiency in written and spoken German (B2+ minimum).
