Mission

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Manages and executes operational and strategic projects and system-wide initiatives that require internal and external cross-functional team alignment across all networks

  • Works proactively and collaboratively across divisions and/or functions to develop governance and best practices for all operations, systems, processes, and reporting. Designs and implements standardized, harmonized, compliance and robust solutions

  • May act as a Business Process Manager and SPOC with regard to process documentation, process agreements, system enhancements, performance metrics & PHIs as well as global initiatives & projects

  • Identifies, communicates and recommends/takes action on problems and/or blockers that impede delivery of program/project objectives

  • Evaluates existing processes and tools across the business and cross-functionally to identify areas for innovation or improvement such as: optimization, stabilization or streamlining.

  • Collaborates with internal and external leadership team and stakeholders to drive change by championing identification, prioritization and execution of complex LEAN/CI projects designed to deliver significant business results, transform culture, and achieve business objectives

  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders in order to become a trusted advisor and partner in the identification and execution of LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives and delivery of defined strategic and digital outcomes

  • May build knowledge, understanding and capabilities in LEAN/Continuous Improvement methodologies, structured problem solving and Root Cause Analysis with involvement of different stakeholders.

  • Consults how to best collect and interpret analytical and performance data to determine KPIs and implement long-term solutions that support on time in full, budget responsibility, oversight and monitoring of business performance, and the risk mitigation connected within.

  • Identifies savings, values opportunities and future outcomes and performance through data analysis, mining and predictive analytics

  • Acts as organizational change agent delivering results focused on digitization of business processes

  • Consults and supports in aligning communications strategy, goals and objectives to overall business strategy

  • Actively supports business development

Studies

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a Business or Technical discipline. MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years process improvement, LEAN transformation, management consulting, and Operational Excellence project management experience with leading companies

  • Highly skilled with at least 5 years of life science industry experience in driving performance transformation solutions from strategy to execution

  • Experience in a biomanufacturing, pharmaceutical industry or health care services

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to work with and influence all levels of the business – C-Suite to Shop Floor

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering performance related results through application of process improvement methodologies and effective change management

  • Strong leadership and project/program management skills

  • Strong working knowledge and practical application of LEAN Six Sigma tools, LEAN Thinking, systematic problem solving/root cause analysis and process improvement

  • Skilled at developing and delivering executive-level presentations and communications

  • Flexible, resilient, and able to achieve results in a team-oriented environment

  • Strong facilitator, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and outcome driven

  • Strategic and pragmatic thinker with able to create simplicity from complexity

  • Able and willing to travel
