Tasks and responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain the MES software application, ensuring that it meets business requirements.
Configure and customize the application's technical aspects to ensure its smooth operation and maximum efficiency.
Implement and maintain software code in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise in the software.
Create reports to provide insightful data to end-users and management.
Develop and implement business rules to ensure the software operates according to the company's standards.
Configure and extend the integration with external applications, ensuring that data is transferred accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with other team members to design, develop and test new features and enhancements.

Studies

Your profile

General:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience working in a lean/agile development environment with remote teams
3+ years of experience in front-end and/or back-end development, with a focus on MES software
Critical Manufacturing Certification as a Front- and/or Back-end Developer is a plus
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Unit/Integration testing experience
Experience with configuring and customizing enterprise-level software applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with a toolbox system
Hands-on experience with SQL
Experience in web libraries and frameworks such as Angular
Good communication (in English), collaboration, and organization skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Highly self-motivated, independent, and outcome driven
Flexible, resilient, and able to achieve results in a team-oriented environment
Willingness to travel
Front-end:
Hands-on experience in PowerShell and Command Line shell scripting languages.
Experience with RESTful services and HTML5
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
Applicable knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as Angular
Knowledge of client-side single-page applications using the Angular framework
Experience in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp
Back-end:
Strong technical skills, including experience with C#, .NET, SQL
Operations intelligence modules (FabLives, Dashboards, BI Cards, Data Warehouse)
