Mission

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (including accrual postings, provisions, depreciation, etc.) in close contact with the external tax advisor

  • operational responsibility for all finance matters and heading the finance department in Arcondis GmbH

  • Close cooperation in a global team with the sits in Switzerland and Slovakia

  • Preparation of budget and forecast as well as liquidity planning in close cooperation with the management

  • Act as a finance business partner for management and project leads

  • Responsibility for operational financial accounting and project accounting

  • Preparing and accompanying of audits (e.g. German pension insurance, external wage tax audit, health insurance)

  • First contact person for banks and authorities

  • Ensuring process optimization, development of the ERP System as well as documentation of new processes and procedures

Studies

Your profile

  • Relevant degree in business studies or a comparable degree, ideally with a focus on Finance and Controlling

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Finance and Accounting, ideally in a medium-sized company

  • Experience in the further development and automation of controlling instruments

  • Fast learner and good time management skills

  • Very good communication skills across all organizational levels and in an international and intercultural context

  • Innovative, strategic, and analytical thinking

  • Very good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel

  • Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and oral
