Tasks and responsibilities

We are looking for a great team of experienced application specialists with minimum 2+ year of experience in application management, troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, software development and ITSM processes.
As a team member you will be providing Level 1.5 - Process Support and Level 2 - Application Support to one of our most important clients.
You will gain a deep knowledge of client’s applications and establish a close relationship with our client to understand their environment as well as collaborate and coordinate activities involving the client’s 3rd party application vendors.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to take on a broader range of responsibilities, including Incident Management and Service Request support, as well as Problem Management, Operational Change & Configuration Management, System Administration and Validation, Knowledge Management, Service Asset & Configuration Management, and the Continuous Improvement Process.

The team which we are building is about to cover following support hours:
08:00 – 00:00 CET (16x5 on-desk support hours covered by multiple shifts, e.g. early/late)
24/7 on call support


Your profile

Must have:
Degree in IT or similar
Technical overview and understanding of OS, Cloud infrastructure, Databases (SQL queries), Middleware, Network, Storage and Backup
Understanding of ITSM processes
Ability and willingness to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
Passion for automation and technology
Familiarity with working in an Agile environment
External vendor management skills
Soft skills:

• Communication
• Analytical thinking
• Team cooperation

Nice to have:
Veeva working experience and certification is a plus
ITIL knowledge and certification
Technical skills and deep functional knowledge of the processes and business operations in the Biopharma R&D domain
Understanding of working in GxP environment
Experience with:

• Release & Deployment Management
• License management
• Proactive monitoring of applications and jobs
• Outage management
• Application Documentation

Experience with one or more of the following systems is desired:
Veeva (Veeva Vault Safety, Veeva Clinical Vault)
TIBCO Spotfire (preferably Exploratory platform)
Lorenz docuBridge, Generis CARA
Userlane (Engagement Suite, Heart Analytics)
