Mission

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide application management, troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, and software development services to our client in support of IBM Maximo asset management platform.

  • Be the key liaison and build a strong relationship with our client and their third-party application vendors to diagnose and resolve incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Manage and execute changes, defects, documentation, and communications with the client and teams in adherence to ITSM processes like Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Operational Change & Configuration Management, System Administration and Validation, Knowledge Management, Service Asset & Configuration Management, and Continuous Improvement Processes.

  • Follow toolbox driven methodology to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with the software.

  • Assist clients with the development and implementation of custom reports and workflows.

  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing users of IBM Maximo.

  • Maintain knowledge base of common issues and solutions, and contribute to ongoing documentation efforts.

  • Provide proactive support by monitoring applications, jobs, and the platform.

Studies

Your profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in application support, troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, software development, and ITSM processes.
  • Technical expertise in OS, Cloud infrastructure, Databases (SQL queries), Middleware, Network, Storage and Backup.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, ability to logically approach problems and come up with the most effective solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo workflows, configuration, customization, and integration tools (e.g. MIF, MEA).
  • Experience in working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Proficient in C# and Command Line shell scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and team cooperation.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IBM Maximo certification i.e. IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management v7.6.
  • ITIL knowledge and certification.
  • Understanding of working in GxP environment.
  • Experience with Release & Deployment Management, License Management, and Outage management.
