CVT Myanmar CVT Myanmar — Center for Vocational Training in Yangon, Myanmar, is an initiative that brings the dual training system from Switzerland to Myanmar, adapted to local conditions, run in the form of a local vocational school. The officially recognized two to three year traineeship as a carpenter, metalworker, electrician, administrative assistant or a hotel and hospitality worker combines practical learning at a company with a general solid educational structure as well as computer and English skills at the vocational school.
KrankeKinder_FINAL Initiative “Krebs bei Kindern” (“Children with Cancer” Initiative) founded in 1985 supports children suffering from cancer who are treated in Munich as well as their families through various measures. They are representatives of the interests of and advocates for the afflicted families.Their goal is to improve the living situation of children with cancer and their families, to support them in their extreme distress and to offer them outlook, not only during the acute illness, but also in the years following it.
Kinderzukunft_FINAL Stiftung Kinderzukunft (Children’s Future Foundation) has been providing sustainable assistance for children in need since 1988. In addition to numerous global projects, they have their own children’s villages in Guatemala, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. They not only provide children a safe home and vital basic services there, but also a sound education and training as the basis for a future life without poverty.
