Mission

Tasks and responsibilities

In this role, you will represent Arcondis on-site at one of our esteemed client locations, in the biotechnology industry. The ideal Business Analyst Lab Consultant will act as the vital link between the client's scientists, and the informatics unit. As an Arcondis Business Analyst, your primary role is to gather intricate requirements, transform scientific prerequisites into actionable system configurations, and ensure the effective dissemination of results. You will represent Arcondis at the client's location, embodying our dedication to complete client satisfaction.

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with scientists and the informatics division to understand and document intricate scientific and process needs.

  • Translation & Configuration: Turn those requirements into tangible bench work, systems setups, and data integration methods.

  • System & Tool Mastery: Work seamlessly within the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) framework, data lakes, and custom tools, maximizing platforms like D360 & Spotfire.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner with other international sites and cross-functional groups, ensuring consistent and transparent communication.

  • Deep Understanding: Gain insights from exploratory & cell biology, synthetic chemistry, and plasma design & assembly to pinpoint process improvements.

  • Specification Development: Recognize and address process gaps, converting them into User Requirement Specifications (URS) and functional guidelines for the informatics division.

  • Result Distribution: Prioritize and ensure the timely and efficient sharing of results across teams.

Studies

Your profile

  • Educational Background: M.Sc. degree in Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Industry Experience: Solid foundation in Process Analysis, GxP Manufacturing, Qualification and validation, Audit, and Quality Control and assurance. While a quality/CSV background is beneficial, a profound understanding of lab operations is crucial.

  • Process Expertise: Demonstrated skill in Business Process Analysis, Optimization, and Documentation.

  • Technical Acumen: Experience with LIMS, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as familiarity with agile project management, Six Sigma, and cross-discipline project coordination.

  • Certifications: Desirable certifications include Six Sigma Black Belt, Professional Scrum Master, IT/OT Infrastructure Compliance.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Proficiency in standards such as GMP, GAMP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical & strategic thought processes, exemplary communication, and a talent for team leadership.

  • Lab Operations: Prior exposure to paperless laboratory operations, Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), and qualification processes.
