Project Achievement

Project leadership is the major challenge in project management and, according to the majority of empirical studies, the major factor in the failure of projects. Of the 30% of projects which end up on the rocks, around 75% fail because of management problems. The project manager is responsible for choosing the right project team members, encouraging team building and identifying and resolving potential conflicts at an early stage. He or she must convey the project objectives to the entire team, motivate the team, inspire team members to support the objectives and continuously monitor the project as a whole.
