Training & Research
Arcondis puts a major emphasis on education and training. As a result we have not only committed to providing ongoing training for our own employees, but have also become involved in the world of education.
At the Furtwangen University of the Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Furtwangen) we hold seminars on "IT project management for large-scale projects" and "IT management". This allows us to maintain a close contact with students from Furtwangen. We can also give the students a practical insight into working in an IT environment and use our contacts with them to discover and foster new talent. We always have students on work experience placements working on our projects and we offer a range of interesting degree dissertation topics with a very practical focus.
Of course, these are also available to students from all other universities.For example, in the past students have written dissertations about "Quality management in IT projects" or "Diagnosis of IT at SMEs". Our work experience students work directly on customer projects, after a short induction period, and, together with acquiring experience of technical and professional subjects, they also learn about teamwork and interaction with customers.
